In an online workshop sponsored by the Berkeley Branch of the California Writers Club (CWC-Berkeley), Keith Gaboury will guide attendees through an online slideshow presentation in a step-by-step process of the ins and outs of how they can get their poetry published in literary journals and presses.

There will be a list of literary databases, a selective list of journals and presses, tips on how to format a standard cover letter and submission file, the differences and similarities between a chapbook vs. a full-length collection, paid vs. free submissions, author promotion, beyond traditional publishing, and literary acceptances and rejections. By the end of the workshop, attendees will feel energized to start submitting their poetry out into the literary world.
